If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to showcase your ideas and expertise at the upcoming ICTM Annual Conference! We are thrilled to announce that speaker proposals are now being accepted for the ICTM Annual Conference, which will take place on Saturday, October 7, at the NIU Conference Center in Naperville. This conference serves as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and the exchange of ideas that help shape the future of math education in Illinois across all grade levels (PreK-16). Whether you're an experienced speaker or a new voice eager to make an impact, we warmly welcome your proposals. We believe in the power of diverse perspectives and fresh insights to invigorate the educational landscape. This year, we particularly encourage new speakers to step forward and share their unique perspectives on math education. To align with our commitment to fostering equitable math classrooms and nurturing thinking-based learning environments, we invite proposals that connect to our recent conference keynote themes: Equity in the Math Classroom (2023) and Building Thinking Classrooms(2022). We are seeking presentations that explore strategies, initiatives, research, and pedagogical practices that empower students of all backgrounds, promote inclusivity, and cultivate critical thinking skills.
